Walking through the canvas er et stort maleri her mellem hækkene. Kunstnerne DMC har ved hjælp af projektion forvandlet havens miljø. De smukke naturomgivelser med træer, stubbe og stier er et villigt lærred, hvor kunstneren udstiller deres maleri. Maleriet vil altid være i forandring på grund af dig og publikum, og derfor aldrig se ens ud. Det eneste tidspunkt maleriet står stille, er kun hvis der ikke er nogen besøgende.
DMC – hollandsk kunstnergruppe
DMC er et samarbejde mellem tre unge hollandske kunstnere. De har fundet hinanden gennem derse fælles passion for lyskunst. I deres kunst kombinere de deres færdigheder fra forskellige baggrunde fra den hollandske by Eindhoven. Hvert medlem af DMC har deres eget speciale og mange års erfaring inden for lyskunst. De har været aktive på lysfestivaler i Holland, Tyskland, Israel, Algeria, Italien, Portugal og Belgien.
Using projection, DMC has transformed the environment that is being played into one large painting. The beautiful natural surroundings are a willing canvas on which the artists can exhibit their paintings. It is even more beautiful that the visitors are part of the painting at the moment they enter the canvas. The painting will therefore never look the same and be in a continuous movement. Only if there is no visitor it will stand still.
DMC:
DMC is a collaboration between 3 young Dutch artists. They have found each other through their shared passion for light art and combine their forces from different backgrounds to come together from the City of Light of Europe; Eindhoven, to come to distinctive and unique work. Each member of DMC has their speciality and years of international experience in the field of light art. They were active in festivals in Eindhoven, Amsterdam, Breda, Gent, Cascais, Jerusalem, Algiers, Brescia, Koblenz, Zeist, Essen etc.
