At Egeskov Open by Night, there are activities from late in the afternoon. Egeskov is open right up until 10 pm, with extra activities and atmosphere on the program. Come and enjoy the light Danish summer evening in the most beautiful surrounding.
You are welcome to bring a picnic with you or you can enjoy the food served from the Café or Kiosks.
All-day long, you can go wild in the stunning surroundings of Egeskov. Try, for example, a dizzying climb 16 meters up into the treetops, get lost in the large maze, find your own spot to relax in the garden and let the kids romp about at the large playground or go for a ride on the Mooncar course.

STIG OG VENNERNE
The audience will have the opportunity to sing along to all of Flemming ‘Bamse’ Jørgensen’s biggest hits, performed with respect and love by the remaining members of Bamses Venner, Peter Bødker, Frank Thøgersen and Anders Lampe, bassist Allan Nagel and Stig Rossen.
In January 2011, immediately after Flemming’s sudden death, the band asked Stig if he wanted to come along to a concert in Syvstenhallen in Sæby. Bamses Venner had played at this hall ball 32 years in a row, and the organizer wanted to mark the end of this era with a tribute concert to Bamse. Stig was in doubt. How would the many loyal fans of Bamses Venner receive this replacement? Was Flemming’s death too close to create a festive atmosphere? When Stig said yes anyway, it was because he had listened to Flemming’s music a lot for many years and thought that Bamses Venner was one of the best bands in Danish popular music.
He saw the concert in Sæby as a chance to show his respect for the late singer. The concert was nothing less than magical, and Stig and the band therefore agreed that they would inquire with previous organizers of concerts with Bamses Venner, if any of them were interested in such a tribute concert. There were six of them.
As Stig always says after the first song: “The best way we can pay tribute to Bamse is to have a party!” And then it will be played off with the very best hits from Bamse’s impressive repertoire: Vimmersvej, Hvorfor går Louise til bal, Venner kom og se, Alice, Kongens Have, I en lille båd der gynger and many more.
The World of Owls
Come by the World of Owls – here you can get up close and personal with these fantastic creatures. There will be a an approx. 20 minutes lecture where you will gain new exciting knowledge about owls and it will be possible to hold one of the owls – this is, however, for a fee.
People are also welcome to come and have a chat over the fence.
The Super Juggler Kasper Jensen
With pace and speed, incredible circus tricks, clownish antics and cackling gaits are performed! Lots of fun, for kids and adults!

The face painter
The face painter Gitte creates motifs and glitter tattoos and wields the magic brush that transforms you into everything from a unicorn to a superhero.
Have the food served at Egeskov’s restaurants. Cafe Jomfru Rigborg offers a special Open by Night menu.
