SWEETS AND ICE CREAM
We sell sweets that are free from artificial colourants and strange E-numbers, as well as ices from Premier Is, one of the few factories in Denmark that still makes authentic ice cream.
GLUTEN-FREE, VEGETARIAN AND ALLERGY-FRIENDLY
Egeskov’s kiosks serve a wide range of fast food, ice cream and sweets, as well as hot and cold beverages. If you are a vegetarian, gluten-intolerant or have any allergies, the staff will be happy to point out suitable options. We have selection lists featuring the ingredients and allergens in the different dishes we serve. Please do not hesitate to ask the staff for guidance.

For a truly peerless taste experience, choose meat from Dansk Kødkvæg. The animals are slaughtered when they are no more than 30 months old, which translates into extremely high protein content and fantastic texture. Respect for both the animals themselves and nature in general is one of the cornerstones of the Dansk Kødkvæg operation, which is why the company has established a set of strict rules for animal welfare.
ANIMAL WELFARE REQUIREMENTS
The cattle graze on natural pasture during the spring and summer months, primarily feasting on juicy green grass. In the winter and during periods of poor weather, they are moved indoors where there is a deep layer of straw in their stalls. The calves remain with their mothers and suckle from them. Dansk Kødkvæg's cattle are not milked. Our fast food sausages are supplied by Steff Houlberg, and we select the ones that taste best and have the highest meat content.
The requirements are based, for example, on a desire to ensure that the animals live as naturally as possible in the Danish countryside. The good taste, the quality and the history of Dansk Kødkvæg – as well as the optimal living conditions of the cattle – ensure an excellent experience for the end consumer. Meat cattle from Dansk Kødkvæg and Dansk Kødkvægs’s other suppliers are transported with care to the abattoir in trucks with air-cushioned suspension.
