Sankthans at Egeskov
Egeskov invites you inside for a cosy Midsummer’s Eve in the atmospheric surroundings of The English Garden, with a concert with Dorthe Gerlach.
The highlight of Sankthans at Egeskov is an atmospheric concert with singer Dorthe Gerlach. In Gerlach’s voice, thousands and thousands of stories are hidden. With her unique sound and irrepressible presence, she always manages to take you on a musical journey. Here you will find the quiet and vulnerable – but also the big and booming. All unfolded through a well-turned Danish language.
For more than 20 years, Dorthe Gerlach has been one half of the ambitious duo HUSH, who are capable of delivering thoughtful and present country-pop.
Before Dorthe Gerlach takes the stage, there will be an opportunity to find your own spot in the garden, enjoy the picnic basket and enjoy the music from the trio Nye Rejsende.
Exhibitions and the castle have extended opening hours this evening and can be experienced right up until 19. The play forest and the garden are open all evening. Dinner can be enjoyed in Cafè Jomfru Rigborg or at the kiosks.
Beer, water, coffee and something good for the palate can be bought at the event in The English Garden.
Egeskov is open from 10.00 – 22.00.
