Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions at Egeskov Castle.
Can i bring my dog
Yes, but you must please keep your dog on a lead at all times. Dogs can be taken into the park, but are not permitted in the castle and museums.
Is it possible to rent a trolly?
Yes, you can rent a trolley for DKK 60, at the entrance with a deposit of DKK 100.
Is it possible to leave the park and come back later on the same day?
Yes, just remember to get a stamp by the staff in the ticket office.
Parking
There are more than 1.400 free parkingspots in the parking lot.
Do i need to go to the ticket office when i have an annual pass?
Have you bought an annuall pass online, you need to get it activated before use. After the annual pass has been activated you can skip the ticket queqe.
Is it possible to visit Egeskov in a wheelchair?
Egeskov is proud to be a member of The Accessibility Label and we are constantly working to improve the conditions for the disabled.
The park and museums are very accessible however due to the many steps and stairs, it is unfortunately not possible to see the inside of the castle.

You can also rent an electric scooter at 70 DKK. We ask you to leave your passport or driver licens by the staff in the shop untill you return the scooter again.

Can i bring my own food and beverage?
Yes you can.
Is it possible to buy postcards, stamps and sourvenirs?
Yes, in the Castle Shop you can buy postcards, stamps and a variety of souvenirs.

At the parkingarea you will find at storage for luggage. Price 20 DKK.

BY CAR
From Jylland: Leave the E20 motorway at the motorway cross Odense. Continue on motorway 9 in direction Svendborg until junction no. 14 to Kværndrup. Follow the signs to Egeskov.
From Sjælland: Leave the E20 motorway at the motorway cross Odense. Continue on motorway 9 in direction Svendborg until junction no. 14 to Kværndrup. Follow the signs to Egeskov.
From Svendborg: Take the A9 to Odense. At the roundabout in Kværndrup, follow the signs for Fåborg on the A8.
From Fåborg: Take the A8 to Nyborg.
BY TRAIN
Line Odense / Svendborg: Train to Kværndrup. Followed by the 920 bus or a 2.5 km walk.
The fastets way to Egeskov by train is to take the train from Odense to Ringe and order a taxi to Egeskov. Palles Taxi: tlf. 0045 6262 2815 / mail: palles.taxi@mail.dk. Price for the taxi aprox. 160 DKK each way.
