In the Dahlia Garden, 140 varieties are planted, ranging from pompon and cactus dahlias to large-flowered giant dahlias measuring up to 30 centimetres in diameter. Throughout the summer, the Dahlia Garden becomes an extraordinary display of colour. Before the first frost in autumn, the garden staff dig up the dahlia tubers so they can overwinter under warm and controlled conditions in the greenhouse.
