The Kitchen Garden
3 The Kitchen Garden
This charming garden room is often described as the jewel of the park. The Kitchen Garden contains everything a household needs for daily living. Herbs and vegetables are supplied to the castle kitchen, flowers to the castle halls, and fragrant herbs to the linen cupboards. The Kitchen Garden was designed in 1970 by the renowned garden architect C.Th. Sørensen based on an idea by Countess Nonni. The pavilions in each corner of the garden were designed by architect Mogens Lassen.
