The Water Garden
13 The Water Garden
This charming water garden invites romance, while children and curious souls can lie on their stomachs and admire the eel population gliding beneath the garden’s Monet-inspired bridge from Giverny. The garden’s many insects and aquatic creatures are a fascinating study in themselves – especially for younger visitors. The Water Garden was renovated in 2019 with raised stone edging to better withstand periods of heavy rain and high water volumes, as well as a new planting plan by Princess Alexandra.
