    Our Processing Activities
    We collect the personal data you provide on Egeskov’s website or through your consent.

    When We Collect Data
    When you visit www.egeskov.dk, you will be informed about the collection of personal data.Using services on Egeskov's website, such as purchasing season passes or subscribing to newsletters, requires providing certain personal information.

    Types of Data Collected
    Egeskov may collect personal data such as your name, address, phone number, and email address. Additionally, we collect information about your activity on www.egeskov.dk, including your digital footprint.

    Photo for Annual Pass
    When purchasing an annual pass, you will be photographed at our ticket entrance during your first visit.
    The photo will be stored on your membership card and in our systems.
    The annual pass is personal and must not be transferred to others.
    At the time of purchase, we will request your explicit consent to store this photo.

    When entering through our gate, the photo will be displayed on a screen overhead. This is done to enhance security at Egeskov and to validate that the annual pass is used by the correct holder.
    We store your photo on your annual pass and use it solely for this purpose. We do not share your photo with third parties.
    Your photo will be deleted if you do not renew your annual pass upon expiration.

    As a customer, you have the right to contact Egeskov and withdraw your consent, in which case we will honor your request. If you choose to withdraw your consent, your annual pass will be deleted and will no longer be valid.

    Purposes and Legal Basis for Data Collection
    Egeskov collects personal data to process orders, send newsletters, and provide information about our business and services. Additionally, data is used for internal market research, targeted marketing, and statistical purposes.
    Our legal basis for processing personal data is your consent or our legitimate interest in developing and marketing our business as well as for security purposes related to park entry.

    Use of Cookies
    The website uses cookies, which are small text files stored in your browser on devices like computers, smartphones, or tablets. Cookies enable recognition of your device, track website behavior, and ensure the site functions properly.
    Cookies are passive files, cannot collect information from your device, and do not contain viruses or harmful software. They are anonymous and contain no personal data. Cookies are used on nearly all websites.

    Use of Video Surveillance
    Video surveillance is installed in and around our entrance areas to ensure the safety of staff in the event of theft or assault. Surveillance also verifies guests entering the park.
    If necessary, video recordings may be shared with the police for criminal investigations. Videos are stored for six weeks before being overwritten. No backups are retained.

    Information Regarding Job Applications
    If you submit a job application to Egeskov, either solicited or unsolicited, we will process your data as outlined in Appendix 1 of this policy regarding job applications.

    Security of Processing
    At Egeskov, we have established procedures to ensure the protection of your personal data. This includes implementing security measures to safeguard customer, employee, and confidential information.

    Sources
    Egeskov only collects personal data you provide to us directly. We do not obtain information from third parties or public authorities.

    Sharing of Personal Data
    Personal data is not shared with third parties.

    Data Retention
    Personal data is deleted when it is no longer required for processing. Retention periods are determined based on each task and legal obligations, including accounting and documentation requirements.

    Appendix 1: Regarding Applications

    Obligation to Provide Information Regarding Applications
    As part of the assessment of your application to Egeskov, CVR No. 18 55 37 83, we process a number of personal data concerning you.
    The processing includes, among other things, collection, registration, storage, and disclosure.
    The purpose of processing your personal data is primarily to manage your application. The information processed by Egeskov about you consists of the data you have provided in connection with your application. Additionally, it may include information that Egeskov receives or obtains from previous employers.
    Egeskov only processes information that is relevant to your application.

    General Personal Data
    The data processed by Egeskov in relation to your application is so-called general personal data, including information about your name, address, phone number, date of birth, photo, professional qualifications, personal skills, diplomas, or other information about your academic degrees and previous employments.
    Processing your general personal data is necessary to assess your application. The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

    Special Notes on Disclosure and Transfer
    Your data will not be disclosed to third parties outside the company.
    Storage of Your Personal Data
    Your data will be deleted six months after receipt.
    If the data needs to be stored for a longer period, your consent will be required.

    Automated Decisions
    Your data will never be used to make automated decisions, including profiling.

    Your Rights
    We inform you that under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding the personal data processed about you by Egeskov:
